Social Media doesn’t feel as social as it used to…

Last time I thought about writing something bloggy was quite a long time ago, before Social Media took over peoples leisure time. These days Social Media doesn’t seem as interesting or potentially useful as it did 15 years ago, I’m trying to figure out if the bus even needs to be on Instagram anymore. I quit Twitter after the US election, yes I lost several bus related contacts when I quit, but nearly all of the new followers I got on Twitter in the last year and a bit were Porn Bots and MAGA stupidity, and those two groups aren’t the sorts who are contacting me for help with local transportation. Besides Social Media not being as Social as the name would imply.
I’m just a small owner-operator / real person and Social Media might not be the best outlet to share ideas or projects ideas / collaboration ideas. If you want to hear about what I’m doing with TikiCAB I want a conversation, Social Media Posts feel like I’m on a corner just yelling stuff at you without the ability to provide context or any sort of meaningful contributions from whoever is reading that has any suggestions. Or if anyone wants to help in the brainstorming ideas department… ever had a brainstorming session by yourself? Get anything sorted out?
